Transfer to hotel for an overnight stay.
Early in the morning, you will be met at the hotel for a half day City Tour. The tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque one of the largest mosques in the Middle East, followed by a visit to either the Natural History Museum exhibiting Oman’s natural scientific development or the Children’s Museum. You drive along the picturesque Corniche to the once walled district Muscat to make a photo stop at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Before winding up the tour you will be strolling through Muttrah Souq, where you will be bargaining for handicrafts and silver items and then you return to the hotel. The afternoon is reserved for Diving Lessons (Basic) for the whole family at the Oman Dive Center.
After an early morning breakfast you will transfer from hotel to Marina Bandar to embark on a Dolphin Tour. Watching wild dolphins is a thrilling way to start the day and the lucky may even come across one of the many species of whales. Not every trip guarantees a sighting, but you are sure to enjoy the cruise out to the sea and enhance your knowledge of nature’s most fascinating marine mammals. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Overnight at Hotel.
After check out at the hotel in the morning you start your fascinating roundtrip on which you will experience more about history and culture of Oman. The first destination today are the Al Hoota Caves, one of the largest natural cave structures. En route photo stop at the oasis of Fanja. Proceed to Al Hamra; one of the oldest villages in Oman with clay houses dating back up to 400 years. You will be shown theFalaj system, one of the oldest irrigation systems in Oman. Then drive up to Jabel Shams. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you experience an untamed and rugged countryside at Oman’s highest peak at 3000 meters, often hailed as the Sultanate’s own version of the Grand Canyon. In the early afternoon you return to Nizwa and check in at the Hotel Falaj Daris.

After check-out at the hotel in the morning you visit the historic city of Nizwa, the cultural capital of Oman. Its main places of interest are the lively Souq and the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman. Then your desert experience starts with a drive into the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographers delight. You will visit the home of a Bedouin Family in the desert, where you will be invited for lunch. After check-in at Al Raha Camp, your experienced drivers will take you on some exciting sand dune driving. Back at the camp you may want to go on a short camel ride, drive a sand buggy or try some sand skiing. Soon after the sun has sent its last rays over the golden desert it will be the time for a BBQ Dinner under the stars.
Our first destination today is Wadi Bani Khalid – an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman with pools with clear deep blue water. Maybe you will catch a glimpse on the small hamlets that cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. You then head for the coastal town of Sur, renowned in former times for its shipyard, where the dhows, the traditional wooden Omani boats were built.
Unfortunately, the operation at the yard has almost been completely shut down. You will have lunch at a local Sea Food Restaurant and then continue to Ras Al Hadd and check in at Ras Al Hadd Beach Hotel. After an early dinner at the hotel you will visit the turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz, where at night the Green Turtles, after a journey of thousands of kilometers will come ashore to lay their eggs. You then return to Ras Al Hadd Beach

Return to Muscat via the scenic coastal road. En route visit Bibi Mariam Tomb in Qalhat, the picturesque Wadi Tiwi, Fins Beach with its white sand, the limestone Sinkhole in Bimah and Village of Quriyat. Picnic Lunch will be served en route.
Drop off at Muscat Airport for your flight home.
